Born in Boston Massachusetts, I moved to the Seattle area when I was six months old. I grew up in a family where art is talked about and appreciated. My mother has a master’s in art history, my uncle teaches art, and my aunt is a print maker. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has influenced how I think, what I do, what I create, and what I value.

     My dad introduced me to the beauty of the outdoors at a young age. He brought my sister and I fishing and skiing all around the West. Whether it be the tall Douglas Firs of Western Washington or the river which snake their way through the golden fields of Eastern Washington, Idaho, or Montana, these memories have informed what I appreciate and what I create. My art is an expression of who I am and where I came from.
